Advent for Children
This PowerPoint™ file offers a child-friendly version of the Jesus story (including the development of the post-Easter tradition) prepared by Peter J. Barnes and original illustrations by Bronwyn O'Callaghan. The file is 5.6MB in size and has preset transitions to run automatically. These settings, and the text, can be edited as desired to fit your particular needs.
A website designed to help parents and other adults answer religious questions raised by children and youth. What does it mean to be a Unitarian Universalist and how do our/your religious beliefs make a difference in the world? These are the two basic questions underlying the thematic presentation of questions and answers on this site. Lessons and activities to address specific questions at different ages are adapted from curricula published by the UUA, by independent authors, and by the Church of the Larger Fellowship. Some lessons and activities are suggested for a single age level; others are recommended for all ages.
Bible as ancient religious literature
Materials for 2nd through 5th graders to convey the Bible within the context of ancient religious literature. Puts together stories from Mesopotamia, Egypt, Persia, Canaan, Israel/Judah, Ancient Greece and Rome, as well as covered Mary, John the Baptizer, Jesus, Paul, and the Gospels. I.C.A.R.E. - Interfaith Curriculums and Religious Education 
Nancy Cronk is currently the Director of Religious Education at Prairie Unitarian-Universalist Church in Parker, CO. She previously taught in Early Childhood Education and Religious Education at Temple Sinai Reform Synagogue in Denver, and is a member of the Colorado Interfaith Alliance. She owned and operated a licensed professional child care business and ran a group home for persons with developmental disabilities, earlier in her career. Nancy combines her knowledge and skill in developmental education with her love of interfaith and spiritual studies. She also leads training programs and workshops for educators in the following settings: preschools, child care associations, religious education programs, foster home associations, before and after school programs, etc.
Jesus and his kingdom of equals 
A nondenominational curriculum, written by Cheryl Gibbs Binkley & Jane Mitchell McKeel, that introduces students in grades 4 to 7 to an interpretation of the historical Jesus based on contemporary biblical research, principally from the Jesus Seminar.

Many Waters 
A novel about twin teenage boys who are blown back into the pre-flood days of Noah. It is a captivating story with an interesting perspective on the Noah's Ark tale. Many Waters, the curriculum, explores the UU principles and purposes that apply to each chapter. Activities include science experiments, art projects, games and building an ark big enough to get into.
