Bob McElwain is one of the original founding directors and Trustees of the FaithFutures Foundation.


Robert J. McElwain is a resident of Prairie Village, Kansas. He is Founder and President of North American Capital Management, an investment management company.

Bob sits on the Boards of Community Bank of Wichita and FaithFutures Foundation. He is also financial advisor to the Westar Institute and has been an Associate of that organization since 1998. He is a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. He has served in several Church leadership positions including Vestry Member, Warden, Diocesan Council, Diocesan Convention Delegate and a member of the Bishops Council. He was a church organist during his high school and college years. He and his wife have also sung in the Church Choir for over 35 years, and they have been volunteers in the Emergency Room of St. Luke’s Hospital for the past 5 years.

He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and has spent the last 40 years in the investment banking field. He has been happily married for 38 years to his wife, Dahlgren, and they have two wonderful grown daughters, two brilliant sons-in-law and one precocious grandson. His hobbies include tennis, competitive target shooting, fishing and gardening.
