(1) Thom 52

His disciples said to him, "Twenty four prophets have spoken in Israel, and they all spoke of you." 2 He said to them, "You have disregarded the living one who is in your presence, and have spoken of the dead." [Complete Gospels]

No copies of this portion of Thomas survive in Greek. For the Coptic version see [Early Christian Writings]

(2) GEger 1[5-23]

1:1 [...] to the legal experts [...] everyone who acts unjustly [...] and not me [...] he does, how does he? 2 Turning to the rulers of the people, <Jesus> made this statement: Pore over the <sacred> writings. You imagine that in them there is life to be had. They do indeed give evidence on my behalf. 3 Don't imagine that I have come to be your accuser before my Father. The one accusing you is Moses---the one you thought you could trust. 4 They say, We know God spoke to Moses. But you---we don't know [where you come from.] 5 Jesus replied: Now you stand accused for not trusting those who are [commended by <Moses>.] 6 If you had trusted Moses, you would have trusted me, for he [wrote] about me to your ancestors. [... 7 ...] stones together [...] him [...] 8 [The rulers] laid their hands on him to arrest him and [turn him] over to the crowd. 9 But they couldn't arrest him because the time for him to be turned over hadn't yet arrived. 10 So the master himself slipped through their hands and got away. [Complete Gospels]

3) Gospel of John

(3a) John 5:39-47

"You search the scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that testify on my behalf. 40 Yet you refuse to come to me to have life. 41 I do not accept glory from human beings. 42 But I know that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; if another comes in his own name, you will accept him. 44 How can you believe when you accept glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the one who alone is God? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; your accuser is Moses, on whom you have set your hope. 46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47 But if you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?"

(3b) John 9:29

"We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this man, we do not know where he comes from."

(John 9:29 GNT-T)
